Tasting
This Bushmills matured for a full 22 years in sherry casks. It is not known what type of sherry it is, perhaps you can find out? The nose reveals wonderful sherry notes, dry oak and the scent of dried fruit and raisins already hints at a fruity note. What the nose promises is also delivered on the palate, which also reflects the sherry, the wood notes and the fruitiness and is additionally underlined with a hint of chocolate and liquorice. The finish is correspondingly full-bodied and spicy. A wonderful after-dinner whisky or one for cooler evenings.
