Originally this whisky was only used to mix many blended whiskies. Only in the course of the last 10 years the distillery awoke from its slumber. Today the fruity Speyside Malt is more and more finding its way into the bottle as a single malt, and rightly so.
Tasting
Nose: fruit compote, vanilla, citrus, waxy, sweetness, wood notes
Palate: Old oak, vanilla, pome fruit, net melon, chocolate, salty-sweet
Finish: beautiful speyside malt, slightly dry & full-bodied spicy
